Carries out responsibilities of desk clerk as necessary.
Maintains positive communication with accounting department.
Performs other assignments as requested.
Provides courteous guest service by responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests, complaints, and by accurately processing guest mail and messages.
Requires knowledge of auditing, bookkeeping, and accounting procedures to include report preparation.
Requires knowledge of front desk/reservations procedures and may require knowledge of General Manager responsibilities, to include knowledge of interdepartmental communications.
Requires ability to operate all front office equipment.
Educational/Vocational Preparation: High school graduate or equivalent. Completion of related coursework in accounting and bookkeeping will be given preference. One year experience in auditing and bookkeeping/accounting. One year experience as a front desk clerk.
